The North Cascades have so much to offer. From fire lookouts perched on top of granite peaks to hundreds of lakes and glaciers this area is truly amazing for adventure elopements. The North Cascades is home to the North Cascades National Park, which helps keep this area protected and secluded. You can easily tuck away in a cabin (or get a backcountry wilderness permit and camp) and escape the crowds and hustle of city life.

The North Cascades Elopement Locations

Again, you have so many options for your North Cascades elopement ceremony and adventure! Want to elope with views of Mt. Shuskan and Mt. Baker in the background? There are a ton of amazing options that are perfect for any level of adventuring desired. Want to exchange vows by a waterfall? Maybe you want to elope overlooking Diablo Lake? Or are you interested in backpacking up to a fire lookout? There are a plethora of options for all levels of adventure.

There are also a lot of locations if you’re interested in eloping outside of the National Park. This is a great option for those who want to bring their pup to their elopement! There are two main highways to access the North Cascades. Highway 20 goes through the National Park and Highway 542 gets you closer to the Canadian border and goes to Mt. Baker and the North Cascades that are outside of the National Park.

Hi, I’m Sierra. I’m an adventure elopement photographer based in the Pacific Northwest. I grew up in Hood River, Oregon until I moved to Seattle for college. I’ve spent the last 7 years exploring all the amazing outdoor areas around Seattle. The North Cascades holds a special place in my heart because my husband and I chose to have a backpacking elopement in the North Cascades! I know what it’s like to plan an elopement in this amazing area, so I’m here to help you with all the logistics.
