Mt. Baker Elopement

Mt. Baker Elopement

Eleanor and Sohan had the most beautiful late September weather for their Mt. Baker elopement! It was nearly 80 degrees, which is often unheard of in the mountains during late September. They started the day getting ready at their airbnb and shared a wonderful meal catered by the Heliotrope. Then we headed up to Mt. Baker for their elopement ceremony with their immediate family. Eleanor’s brother officiated their ceremony and Eleanor walked with her father down the perfect outdoor “Aisle” (trail) to their ceremony. Eleanor and Sohan decided to include elements of their western and Indian culture in their day. It was so beautiful to see two cultures come together to honor and celebrate their families joining. After their ceremony they changed into Indian garb and got some portraits by Picture Lake near Mt. Baker! Then they changed back into their western clothing and said goodbye to their families to go explore the Mt. Baker/Artist Point area and have some alone time. Eleanor and Sohan chose to say private vows to eachother and made their favorite cocktail to enjoy as well. After the sun went down we headed back to their airbnb to finish off the night with a first dance and cake! It was the perfect day!

I’m a bit biassed when it comes to Mt. Baker, because my husband and I had out own backpacking elopement at Mt. Baker (pictured below)! We picked a stunning trail that featured lakes, insane views of Mt. Baker, and Mt. Shuksan.

I’m here to help you find the perfect trail that meets your needs and priorities. Each of my elopement packages includes planning assistance. I can help you put together a timeline that will is realistic and helps make the day go smoothly! Have questions about what to bring or wear for a hiking elopement? I can help you with that too!
