Moab 4 Day Canoe Elopement

Adam and Megan’s elopement was originally going to be a one day adventure around Moab, but as we dove into locations none of the spots we were chatting through felt right to them. They wanted to be truly immersed in the landscape, they wanted something unique, something that really felt like “them”, a place that made them feel both in awe of the immense landscape but also truly “in it”. Then they through out the idea of a boat ride to a remote trail for a short overnight backpacking trip in their favorite area of Canyonlands NP. We acquired the camping permits and made plans for the jet boat only to then have the plan derailed by the National Park when they found out they wanted to get married there. So then we went back to the drawing board. Canoeing is something A & M have done a lot of together, so we started dreaming up a canoe trip. We landed on a 4 day trip through the Green River outside of the National Park. It was incredible to say the least! We canoed 15+ miles every day through a gorgeous & serene canyon. There’s so much more to share, but I have a feeling I’ll be posting about this adventure for a while 🥰
