Mt. Hood, Oregon Waterfall Elopement

Mt. Hood, Oregon Waterfall Elopement

These two traveled all the way from Georgia to elope in on this waterfall trail in Oregon. They started off the day getting ready with their kids and then we headed to the trailhead to meet their officiant, Mary Ellen. We hiked to a peaceful spot nestled into the trees beside the river that I had previously scouted for them. Michelle and James exchanged their vows, honored their children, and then celebrated afterwards with a picnic and champagne! Then we headed to the falls! If you’ve ever been to a waterfall as big as this, then you know the mist spray can be pretty intense to say the least! M & J handled it like champs and we had a blast running around getting portraits and admiring the falls. After just 15 minutes we had to call it before we all got completely soaked. Then we headed back to their Airbnb for a delicious catered meal by @miere.catering and some portraits in the forest at their lodging.

It was a beautiful day and I feel so honored to have been able to document it and show off this beautiful state!
